Going forth with gladness – To what lies before us
Climbing up the pathway – Jesus feet have trod
We will scorn the low way,
And we’ll choose the highway,
For it is the Christ Way that will lead to God
There’s a way to go, There’s a way to grow
Jesus is the way, the truth, the life we know
Won’t you come along? Won’t you be made strong?
And God’s love shall guide us as we walk along
Growing in His knowledge, Growing strong in service,
Growing deep in love, And growing sweeter, too
Only Christ can help us,
Reach the goal we’ve chosen,
And in tests and trials – keep us strong and true
